1. How did local events impact ridership in summer 2025? What effect did the July 15th fare increase have?

As you can see, ridership spikes around local events. There is a noticeable drop in ridership following the fare increase on July 15th, 2025.

2. How do the stations compare when it comes to response time? Which are the best, which are the worst?

As you can see, stations with higher traffic have lower response times. 86th, houston and 50th stations seem to be the best.

3. Which three stations need the most staffing help for next summer based on the 2026 event calendar?

As you can see with the historic data and upcoming events, Canal street, Penn Station and Chambers St, will need more staffing. These stations are the confluence for the most events (and therefore, potentially the most ridership) with the lowest current staff.
